February 25, 2025 - Five Comal ISD athletes will play in the 2025 San Antonio Sports All-Star Basketball Game presented by Valero Sunday, March 23, at the Northside Sports Gym in San Antonio.
The five selected are among the area’s top high school basketball players whose talents will be showcased during the games.
Forward Alisha Peavy will represent Pieper High School in the 1A-5A girls game at 1:45 p.m.; followed by guard Wayne Jurica representing Smithson Valley High School and forward Carter Williams representing Canyon Lake High School in the 1A-5A boys game at 2:15 p.m.
Both the 6A girls and boys teams will feature Canyon High School athletes with forward Emma Pinto playing at 6:10 p.m. and post/forward Roman McFall taking the court at 8 p.m.
Included in the day’s events will be a skills challenge and 3-point shooting contest.
